The four councillors elected for Nairn (Ward 19) in the Highland Council are:
Fraser, Laurie - Independent
MacDonald, Elizabeth - Scottish National Party (SNP)
Marsden, Graham - Scottish Liberal Democrats
Park, Alexander - Independent
The two Independent councillors-elect are the only two candidates for whom I entered a preference vote in my ballot paper so I am happy that they, at least, have succeeded in being re-elected and that all four elected reside either in Nairn or nearby Auldearn. I believe local councillors should have a direct relationship with the area they seek to represent.
