this up. There have been so many cases recently of the police arresting people on suspicion of terrorist activity amid a blaze of publicity then releasing them quietly without charge a few weeks later that I hope they have something concrete to back this up; otherwise the suspicion will be that they are acting merely to curry favour with the perceived wishes of the government.
