The
Cour de Cassation has
said both partners in a homosexual couple may exercise parental authority, not just the biological parent. The change coincides, interestingly enough, with the first marriage involving a gay couple in France. There it is possible to contract a civil union, but for full marriage a trip to Belgium is eesential.
