Marjory Sinclair Cameron - Rest in Peace
My mother died early last Tuesday morning and her funeral service will be held this coming Tuesday. Neither my brother nor me will be wearing black at the service, as we wish to make the occasion one to celebrate her life as well as to mourn her passing. Below is a brief photographic history of her life, starting with a photograph taken around 1930 when she would have been 9 or 10 years old and ending with a photograph of my mother and myself taken around a month prior to her death. For the last 17 months she has been living in a care home and, apart from the initial few months settling in, was very happy there; we are very lucky that the level of care and the kindness shown to her (and other residents) by all of the staff there was of a very high standard indeed. We are so grateful for this.

Sorry to hear about her passing, Bill, but great to see you looking to celebrate her life. You've done her grand by showing us pictures of her througout her life.
ReplyDeleteThanks Brian for your kind comments; they are appreciated. I am off on Tuesday for a few weeks at my home in Spain, a much-needed and welcome break after the past few months.
