Is this 'Sunday newspaper wishful thinking' by the Conservatives?

This Scotsman article makes for interesting reading, but it sounds just a little far-fetched at this stage - although having written that, perhaps the result on the morning of 6th May will confound many expectations. 'Unpredictable' seems to be the word for what could happen in this election.
