The discovery of the skeletal remains of a small human species, perhaps about 1 metre (3 feet) tall, which has been dubbed Homo floresiensis, is being classified as 'sensational', specially because it is believed that members of the species may have been alive as recently as 12,000 years ago, with some believing that some could even be alive today in remote forested areas of Indonesia.
